Editorial Independence Comes First
Scores, rankings, and conclusions are set by editorial judgment alone — not by which company pays the highest affiliate commission. See how the site makes money for full transparency on that front.
What Goes Into a Review
- VPN: real-world speed tests, security/encryption checks, no-log claim verification, streaming and unblocking tests, and price benchmarking against competitors.
- Gaming: hands-on play sessions across PC, console, mobile, indie, and VR titles, judged on gameplay, technical performance, and value.
- AI: practical testing of chatbots, image/video generators, coding assistants, and productivity tools for output quality, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Software: functional testing of productivity, security, design, and utility tools for reliability, usability, and price-to-value.
Where Our Information Comes From
We prefer primary sources: hands-on testing, official documentation, and independently verifiable data. When something comes from a vendor’s press materials rather than our own testing, we’ll say so.
Fixing Mistakes
